Six Reasons People Choose to Study With Us
Qualified, Licensed Facilitators
Every programme is led by practitioners who hold valid MAS-regulated licences. You are learning from people who have worked in Singapore's financial advisory environment, not from general trainers.
Built Specifically for Singapore
CPF mechanics, SGX instruments, MAS regulations, and local tax considerations are the foundation of our courses. No time is wasted on systems or products that do not apply here.
Small Cohorts, Meaningful Dialogue
Between eight and fourteen participants per intake. This is a deliberate constraint. Smaller groups produce more useful discussion and allow facilitators to address individual questions properly.
No Product Sales, Ever
We do not distribute investment products, insurance products, or advisory services. There are no referral arrangements. Our only interest is in the quality of the education we provide.
Workbooks You Keep
Each course includes structured workbooks developed alongside the curriculum. Participants take them home as reference documents long after the programme concludes.
Paced for Reflection
Sessions are spaced across weeks intentionally. This gives participants time to read, think, and form questions before the next session — a rhythm that supports deeper understanding.

A Closer Look at What Each Benefit Means
Professional Expertise
Our facilitators bring a combined background spanning private banking, retail investment advisory, CPF Board engagement, and adult education. Each one holds licences that are current under MAS regulation.
This matters because financial topics in Singapore involve regulatory frameworks that shift. A facilitator without current advisory experience may not be aware of changes to CPF LIFE payout parameters, updated SSB interest structures, or MAS guidance affecting communication standards. Our team engages with these frameworks as part of their professional practice, not just as course preparation.
- Minimum ten years of relevant professional experience per facilitator
- Current MAS-regulated licences held
- Ongoing engagement with local market instruments
Process & Structure
Each course has been built from the perspective of a forty-something Singaporean who needs to understand, not just receive information. Topics are sequenced so that each session rests on the session before it.
Workbooks are structured to mirror the session flow. Group discussions are guided, not unstructured — they follow a set of questions designed to surface the concerns most participants share. Post-course materials support continued reference without requiring further purchases.
- Curriculum reviewed annually before each intake
- Workbooks co-developed with an adult education specialist
- Session notes and summary documents provided
Participant Support
Questions that arise between sessions can be submitted to facilitators via email. We aim to respond within two working days. This is not a ticket queue — responses come directly from the facilitator familiar with your cohort.
Enrolment queries are handled by our front office team at our Raffles Place office, and in-person visits during office hours are welcome. We keep our contact information clear and our processes simple.
- Direct email access to your facilitator during enrolment
- Office accessible Monday to Friday at Raffles Place
- Cohort transfer option if schedule changes
Transparent Pricing
Course fees range from S$170 to S$385 per programme and include all session materials, workbooks, and post-course reference documents. There are no add-on fees, no membership requirements, and no upsell pathways.
Each course is priced to reflect its length and the degree of specialist input involved. The Annuities and CPF LIFE programme involves a dedicated Q&A session with a retirement specialist and carries the highest fee accordingly.
- S$170 — Navigating Mid-Life Finances (6 weeks)
- S$265 — Income Planning with Dividend and Bond Instruments (7 weeks)
- S$385 — Understanding Annuities and CPF LIFE (5 weeks)
Learning Outcomes
Participants consistently report leaving their course with a clearer understanding of their CPF structure, a more considered view of their retirement income options, and greater confidence in conversations with financial advisors.
We do not measure outcomes in investment returns — we are not an advisory service. We measure them in the ability to understand, question, and participate in decisions about your own finances. That is what our programmes are designed to develop.
- Post-course self-assessment shows improved CPF and instrument comprehension
- Participants complete a personal planning document in each programme
- Certificate of completion issued by Bintang Capital

What You Will Not Find Elsewhere
Personal Summary Document
At the conclusion of the mid-life finances course, each participant completes a personal financial summary document structured around their own CPF, savings, and income position. This is not a generic template — it is built session by session.
Live Retirement Specialist Q&A
The CPF LIFE and annuities course includes a dedicated session with a retirement specialist who fields participant questions directly. This is not a panel discussion — it is a focused Q&A designed around the specific questions that arise during the course.
Considered, Non-Pressured Tone
Our courses are not designed to alarm or create urgency. We recognise that adults in their forties have already managed complex lives. Our approach is to equip, not to frighten. The tone across all three programmes reflects this deliberately.
Sample Portfolios from the Local Market
The income planning course uses worked examples drawn from Singapore's listed REITs, SSB structures, and fixed income funds as they currently exist. There are no hypothetical foreign markets or instruments that participants cannot access.
